Studying creative writing and philosophy has given me a boost in life.
An open mind, and the ability to express myself, were a great help in the following 2 decades - both in the early days in the entertainment/hospitality/promotions, and in the music industry also.
A point here: I didn't complete my degree (I moved to Australia mid-way, and joined the workforce) - however, initial study provided a good influence and essential skills.

Hard work but very interesting
Has been infinitely useful in helping me to determine which area I would like to further my studies and career, by showing me where my specific interests lie.
It's hard getting questions answered sometimes but a phone call can help out in that situation
As a distance student you don't get much individual attention
Love the subject, very interesting, learning new things every day.
Comprehensive and usually relevant to assignments
Don't know about onsite facilities, but the online resources are excellent
